At Bill Allen Construction, we have built a strong reputation for outstanding planning and execution of a range of masonry & concrete projects, both residential and commercial.
We specialize in flatwork concrete & concrete installation for the following surfaces:
FAQS:
Q: What is the difference between concrete and cement?
A: Cement is the ‘active ingredient’ in concrete. Cement reacts with water and is the glue that holds concrete together.
Q: What weather conditions are ok for masonry & concrete projects?
A: Masonry & concrete projects should only be undertaken in dry weather conditions and above freezing temperature. 60-80 degrees fahrenheit is ideal.
Q: How long until I can drive on my new driveway or garage?
A: Concrete is designed to reach 90% of its maximum strength in 7 days, making it ok for passenger vehicles after 1 week. Refrain from parking or driving any heavy equipment on your new concrete surface for 30 days.
